Florida State Athletics announced a multi-year sponsorship with Progressive that will begin with the 2026 season and bring field logos to every Florida State home football game.
The deal also makes Progressive the presenting sponsor of the Florida State–Miami rivalry starting in 2026, adding another layer to one of college football’s most storied and passionate matchups. The sponsorship spans both schools and their respective home football seasons and includes field branding, in-stadium signage and custom rivalry content.
What the partnership means
For Florida State, the agreement creates season-long visibility for Progressive at Doak Campbell Stadium and around the home schedule. That matters because the brand will be present not just for one game, but throughout the full home slate beginning in 2026.
Vice President and Director of Athletics Michael Alford said Progressive’s commitment to Florida State Athletics and its presence on the field throughout the season reflect the strength and reach of the partnership. He also noted that the Florida State–Miami rivalry remains one of the sport’s most storied and passionate games, and said the school is excited to work with Progressive to elevate the experience around it while engaging Seminole fans all season long.
Progressive’s Media Business Leader Sean Freeman said college football is about more than what happens on game day, describing the sport as something that reflects pride, tradition and community. He added that rivalries are a major part of what makes college football what it is and said the company is proud to support the student-athletes, alumni and fans who help make these programs special.
The rivalry between Florida State and Miami began in 1951, and the new sponsorship gives the matchup a commercial spotlight beginning in 2026. For fans following the Fsu Football Schedule 2026, it is another sign that the home calendar will carry added branding, added presence and added attention well beyond the final score.
