Tony Khan put Britt Baker back into the conversation on the August 27 AEW All In media call, but not onto the August 30 card. Baker has not wrestled for AEW since November 2024, and she is still being discussed mainly through brief social posts and one question: will she show up at Wembley Stadium?

Khan said, "Britt Baker is somebody who is an AEW original and has competed at All In London previously" on the AEW All In media call on Thursday, August 27. He also said, "I know fans are always excited about Britt and asking about Britt." That is the clearest public signal AEW has given about her status since the long stretch away from TV began.
He tied that answer to Baker’s history at Wembley Stadium, saying, "The last time we were in Wembley Stadium, Britt was on the show." He added, "I would say as with all the questions about people returning or debuting, anytime we’re getting asked about somebody coming back to AEW TV or debuting, I’ve always said stay tuned."

Earlier this month, Baker answered a fan’s question about where she had been with three words: "At the beach." This week she posted an image of a sunset at the beach, and a fan replied, "Wish you would return at Wembley." That kind of short back-and-forth has become the public paper trail while AEW TV has stayed quiet.
Baker has also looked like she has not been skipping any time at the gym. That matters only because the physical shape of the posts has kept the return conversation alive while the booking has not moved in her direction.
AEW TV and Pittsburgh
Khan said Baker is still under contract to AEW and that he wants her back. He also said, "In this case, I would say that makes sense as well." The wrinkle is simple: Baker is not advertised for All In, even though she remains one of the company’s better-known names and has been absent from AEW since November 2024.
The September 9 episode of Dynamite will be dedicated to Rebel, and a couple of weeks later Dynamite will take place in Baker’s hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. As of right now, Baker is not advertised for those events either, so the immediate booking picture still points to waiting rather than a formal return slot.
That leaves August 30 as the cleanest test of where this goes. Khan’s comments keep Baker in play, but AEW’s current advertising does not, and in wrestling business terms that gap is the story: she is under contract, she is still being asked about, and she is still not on the poster.
