The announcement puts the Caribbean at the center of the autumn schedule. The tour will include the Bahamas, where King Charles is head of state, and Guyana, where Buckingham Palace said the visit comes at the invitation of the president and at the request of the U.K. government.
Buckingham Palace also said the Guyana stop will mark 60 years of diplomacy between the two countries. The tour will conclude in Antigua and Barbuda, where King Charles is also head of state, before the couple attends the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
