Netflix has released the first full-length trailer for The Gentlemen season 2, giving Theo James and Kaya Scodelario’s series its clearest look yet before the Sept. 3 launch. The new footage puts Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass back at the center of the story, with the season set to run for eight episodes.

The trailer puts Eddie Horniman and Susie Glass into the lakeside villas of Italy as they grow their business internationally. One crew member learns there that he has bitten off more than he can chew, while Eddie’s rise through the criminal underworld continues alongside his rise through the British establishment.
Guy Ritchie, who created, wrote, directed and executive produced The Gentlemen, said, “The ambition of ‘The Gentlemen’ has accelerated, the world has expanded and the consequences carry weight.” He also said, “A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.”
Ritchie’s returning cast
Ray Winstone returns as Bobby, Harry Goodwins as Jack, Joely Richardson as Lady Sabrina, Daniel Ings as Freddy, Jasmine Blackborow as Charly and Vinnie Jones as Geoff. Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Vu, Ruby Sear and Pearce Quigley are also back, while Hugh Bonneville joins the cast as a new oleaginous aristo.
Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr and Maya Jama join this season. The trailer also includes Eddie’s line, “Four hundred years ago, this estate spread out as far as the eye could see. I want it all back,” and Stanley Johnston’s warning, “You are destined to rule, forge your own path.”
Season 3 pressure
Variety reported that The Gentlemen was already in pre-production for Season 3 even though no scripts had been finalized and no new casting had been set, a rare split between renewal momentum and unfinished creative work. Guy Ritchie is due to return to direct Season 3 and co-write it with Matthew Read, so the Sept. 3 debut is not just a launch date; it is the handoff point into the next phase of the series.
Viewers of The Gentlemen now know exactly what the trailer is selling: eight episodes, a new Italy setting, a bigger cast and a third-season path that is already moving despite the gaps around casting. Which role, if any, Meghan Markle may play remains unanswered.
