Paula Froelich says Ferguson is now tied to a reported TV project about Harry and Meghan returning to the United Kingdom. The royal expert told The Royalist podcast she is hearing that an active project is already in motion, adding a fresh layer to the couple’s reported plans after their move away from California.
Froelich said, "There's a buzz about a 'return to the U.K.' series, if you will" and "I am hearing that there is an active project." She also said, "They need to make money," and pointed to the couple’s Netflix relationship, which has already included Harry & Meghan in 2022 and With Love, Meghan in 2025.
Cotswolds Home Search
Froelich said the most revealing clue is the kind of property Harry and Meghan are said to be seeking in the Cotswolds. The Daily Mail reported that Meghan, 45, wants nine bedrooms and a film studio for the family of four, while Harry, 41, wants a property with lots of land.
That combination points to more than a private residence. A film studio changes the meaning of the search: it suggests space for production, not just family life. If the reported project exists, a home built around filming would let the couple keep media work close to where they live, rather than treating the move as a clean break.
Netflix Deal and California Pressure
The reported project lands while the couple still has a first-look deal with Netflix. Froelich said there is a buzz around the idea and described titles such as "Finding Freedom: The Return," "Harry and Meghan: Part Deux," and "The New Life" as the kind of branding that could fit the concept.
The business backdrop also matters. The report says Harry and Meghan may have left California while facing a string of business setbacks there, and it says Harry is on the hook for an eight-figure payout to newspaper publishers who defeated him in court. The couple reportedly does not want to part with their $15 million Montecito mansion or their $8.5 million holiday home in Portugal, which leaves their next move looking less like a full reset and more like a second base.
