Can Ajax Women force a comeback in Madrid?

That is the correct balance here. Respect the opponent, but do not surrender before the whistle.
Still, belief is not the same as advantage. Ajax now need a performance with urgency, precision and nerve, because this tie was put on a knife edge in Amsterdam and the Spanish capital will not make life any easier. Real Madrid have the cushion, the home setting and the pedigree. Ajax have the need, the motivation and the uncomfortable knowledge that their European season hinges on one very difficult evening.
