PlayStation put the GTA 6 controller reveal on the clock with two limited-edition DualSense Wireless Controller designs for Grand Theft Auto VI. The Black Limited Edition and White Limited Edition both arrive as limited quantities, so buyers are dealing with a fixed window instead of an open-ended release.
Both controllers launch on November 19, the same day Grand Theft Auto VI launches. PlayStation set the suggested price at $84.99 USD, ¥12,480 including tax, €84.99, and £74.99, which puts the accessory in the premium tier from day one.
State of Play details
At today's State of Play, PlayStation showed a first look at the two DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI Black Limited Edition and DualSense Wireless Controller – Grand Theft Auto VI White Limited Edition models. Both versions use a shimmering, color-shifting finish that combines a Vice City sunset with neon light hues, and both include custom palm tree details molded directly into the controller.
The timing is the real business move here. Pre-orders start on September 10 at 10:00am local time, with the U.S. set for 7:00am PT and 10:00am ET on. In the U.K., France, Germany, Austria, Spain, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, and Luxembourg, pre-orders also begin at 10:00am local time through.
Direct sale split
The Black Limited Edition is available in limited quantities exclusively through where available, while the White Limited Edition is also available in limited quantities at participating retailers. In Portugal, players can pre-order through playstation.com/store/hardware, and eligible orders placed directly through PlayStation can receive free launch day delivery.
That split matters because it gives collectors two different buying routes, but not the same one. If someone wants the black model, the path runs through; the white model has the broader retail path, though both are still capped by limited quantities. Mason Morea attached the page, and the takeaway is simple: this is a timed accessory drop built for players who want the Grand Theft Auto VI branding before November 19 closes the gap between the hardware and the game itself.
