On the record, he says, “Put out that Flame, It’s f*ckin lame, uh, going out sad,” then adds, “What more can I say? You do what they tell you to say. You a motherf*cking puppet.” Those lines gave listeners the clearest read on the song’s target, even though Travis Scott is not named outright.
Yeat and Eaters
Yeat’s verse on “Eaters” was present in the original version before disappearing from the streaming version of Slime Language 3 just days after the compilation arrived. The track had already drawn attention because Young Thug previewed an early version during an Instagram Live in May 2025, and the final release still listed Travis Scott and Future as outside guests alongside YSL’s Tezzus.
That sequence matters because the removal did not stop at one song. Yeat’s appearance on Sheck Wes’ “Trip Out” on the deluxe edition of JACKBOYS 2 was later removed as well, widening the dispute beyond a single feature and making the original version of “Eaters” the version listeners now compare against.
Instagram Live in May
According to a report from Kurrco, an artist featured on the record allegedly gave Young Thug an ultimatum to remove their verse or remove Yeat’s. Nobody involved has publicly said who made that demand, and Yeat responded after the reports surfaced by posting a laughing emoji on Instagram.
Yeat’s reply fits the mood of the release: the song reads like a direct answer to the fallout, but the lyric sheet leaves just enough distance to keep the target implicit. Fans can hear the jab; they just cannot point to a line that names Travis Scott outright.
