Whit Weeks announces Talbot, Carmouche & Marcello partnership before Clemson game — Weeks Lsu profile keeps rising

Whit Weeks has added another major commercial move ahead of LSU's Week 1 opener, announcing a brand partnership with Talbot, Carmouche & Marcello and revealing a new commercial with Our Lady of the Lake Health just days before the Clemson game.

The timing matters because this is not just another offseason update. Weeks has become one of the more marketable college football players in the country, and his profile is now expanding alongside a season that begins with a major test for LSU and the start of the Lane Kiffin era in Baton Rouge.

Weeks Lsu: a player whose profile now stretches beyond the field

Weeks was already familiar to a wider audience after appearing as one of the stars of the 2025 Netflix docuseries SEC Football: Any Given Saturday. Since then, he has continued to build a public presence while remaining a central figure for LSU on the field.

His list of NIL ties now includes Our Lady of the Lake Health, Raising Cane’s, Phorm Energy and Onward Reserve, with the Talbot, Carmouche & Marcello announcement adding another layer to that commercial footprint. For a player entering a season with so much attention around LSU, it is a sign of how quickly his name recognition has grown.

Why the Clemson game sharpens the spotlight

LSU’s opener against Clemson is being framed as a major early-season test, and it also marks the beginning of the Lane Kiffin era in Baton Rouge. That gives Weeks' announcement an even sharper backdrop, because the football pressure and the commercial momentum are now arriving together.

Weeks has already been clear that outside noise does not change what happens inside the football building. In July, he said his relationship with Lane Kiffin had not been affected and stressed that the football building was for work. He made the same broader point again when he said that everyone inside the building shares the same mindset and the same goals.

That message fits the way Weeks has spoken throughout the summer. He has said that when he is in the football building, he is there for work, even if there is room for fun away from it. He also noted that outside the building, things are different, explaining that Kiffin is his girlfriend’s dad and that it does not affect anything in the football building.

Death Valley will provide the first real test

The buildup has only intensified since August 16, when Landry Kiffin posted an Instagram message that read, “Heard he’s pretty good,” alongside a picture of the couple at Tigers Stadium. Then, on September 1, Weeks told reporters he could not wait to get in Death Valley that Saturday and described it as his first ever time playing an opener at home.

He added that it was going to be “Coach Kiffin’s first game in Death Valley” and said the atmosphere would be incredible. His final verdict was simple: it would be insane, and he could not wait for it.

So while the focus this week will naturally turn to Clemson, Weeks has already shown why he is becoming a key face of the LSU story. He is important on the field, increasingly visible off it, and now heading into a season opener that will tell us plenty about LSU's ceiling.
