Donald Trump said on Monday that Bombardier can no longer sell its aircraft in the United States. He made the statement in a Truth Social post and tied it to his trade war with Canada.
He wrote that Bombardier's products are "not good enough." He also said over half of the company’s revenue comes from US sources, even as he moved to shut off access to the market.

Trump’s post said, "NO MORE SELLING BOMBARDIER IN THE UNITED STATES!" He added, "If they want our Market, they must build here, and stop treating America like a 'piggybank,'" and ended with, "BUY AMERICAN. FLY ON AMERICAN AIRLINERS. ENJOY AMERICAN LIQUOR AND BEVERAGES. SAIL ON LAKE AMERICA. AMERICA FIRST!"

The statement landed as the US and Canada remain locked in a trade war for over a year. The source also says the US imposed 50% tariffs on certain Canadian imports on August 22 after the two countries failed to reach a trade deal.
Trump’s claim creates a sharp contradiction inside the post: Bombardier is barred from selling in the US, yet he said more than half of its revenue comes from US sources.
