Dana Pellicano says the Starbucks Snoopy cup launch belongs to fall’s regular rhythm, and the company is giving that idea a date: Sept. 15. Starbucks locations around the world will begin selling a limited-edition Snoopy merchandise collection inspired by It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown.

Pellicano, Starbucks’s senior vice president of global product experience, said, “The return of Pumpkin Spice Latte and ‘It’s the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown’ are both enduring signs that fall has arrived.” She added, “This collaboration brings those traditions together in a collection designed to celebrate the joy of the season, and we’re excited to share it with our customers.”

The collection features 10 collectible items, including drinkware, accessories and a plush. Pellicano singled out the Snoopy glass cold cup as “a special addition to the collection, one that is sure to become a cherished keepsake for Starbucks and Peanuts fans alike.”

The release lands alongside the 60th anniversary of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, which gives Starbucks and Peanuts a built-in seasonal hook without turning this into a one-off novelty drop. For shoppers, the practical part is simple: the collection is being rolled out across the United States, Canada, Latin America and the Caribbean, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific markets.

Limited time, broad reach

That global footprint comes with a catch. The collection will be available only for a limited time and while supplies last, so the first wave of buyers in each market will have the best chance at the glass cold cup and the other pieces that are likely to move fastest. In merchandising terms, this is a controlled drop, not an open-ended seasonal line.

Sept. 15 is the date to watch. Anyone who wants the Snoopy set will need to treat it like a release window, not a later convenience buy, because once the stock is gone, the season does not wait.
