Aesha Scott is now tied to Gael Cameron’s first public remarks after Nathan Gallagher’s domestic violence arrest, and Cameron chose Instagram Stories to thank supporters while saying she has been quietly healing and rebuilding for Kayden and herself. The post comes after Gallagher’s December 2025 arrest in Australia and his earlier conviction of three domestic violence offenses.

“Hey guys, I just want to say thank you so much for the support you’ve shown for Kayden and I,” Cameron wrote on Saturday, September 5. She followed that with, “It’s been a tough season, but I have been using the past few months to quietly heal and rebuild for little man and myself.”
She added, “I really appreciate the love you have sent our way, especially while everything that’s come to light, and I’m really working on finding myself again and moving forward.” That is a practical public step: Cameron is not only acknowledging the attention around the case, she is setting a line around what she is willing to say now, while centering her 14-month-old son.
December 2025 and New South Wales
Gallagher was arrested in Australia in December 2025 on charges of assault occasioning actual bodily harm, intentionally choking a person without consent and common assault. Police said neither party sustained injuries, and he was granted conditional bail. An Apprehended Violence Application was filed on behalf of Cameron in New South Wales.
Earlier this month, Gallagher was convicted of three domestic violence offenses after failing to appear in court. That sequence leaves Cameron’s statement operating against a finished court outcome, not a rumor cycle, which is why her choice to speak now reads as a boundary-setting move rather than a reactive quote dump.
Gallagher’s August response
In August, Gallagher said, “I’m not claiming I was perfect. I wasn’t. I made mistakes, and I will take responsibility for my own actions,” but he also said, “I will not accept being portrayed solely through one person’s account of a relationship when there is another side and evidence relating to it.” He said he had “contemporaneous video footage from the night in question, as well as messages and other records,” and added that there were “other matters surrounding the relationship that I have never discussed publicly.”
He also said, “My priority is being recognized as his father, establishing a relationship with him and ultimately finding a way for both of us to move forward and coparent peacefully.” That puts the story in its bluntest form: Cameron is speaking for the first time, Gallagher has already tried to frame the dispute as a two-sided record, and the unresolved point is the same one that usually drives these cases — what happened in the relationship and on the night that led to the charges is still the part both sides are fighting over.
