Big Stacks was left bleeding after an altercation on Wednesday afternoon, just days before his scheduled fight with Jordan McCann on Saturday night in Newcastle at a Misfits Boxing event.
The incident adds another twist to an already heated rivalry. Earlier in the year, Jordan McCann and Big Stacks were involved in a brawl at an open workout in the build-up to a Misfits event, and McCann also punched Big Stacks before being escorted out of the arena.
This time, Big Stacks said the clash did not stop the bout from going ahead. In his response, he said the fight was still on, adding that he and McCann had not been injured and that attempts to derail the build-up did not change the card.
What happened
Big Stacks said, “It's all kicked off again today,” after the altercation. He also said the group involved tried to cheap shot him and threw a chair, but insisted, “The night is still on. The fight is still on. They did not injure me. They tried.”
The exchange is the latest flashpoint in a feud that has already spilled over into public settings. In June, Ibiza Final Boss defeated Jordan McCann, and the card in Newcastle also includes Ibiza Final Boss and Jade Jones.
For now, the key takeaway is simple: despite the bleeding and the latest confrontation, Big Stacks says he will still face Jordan McCann on Saturday night.
