Erykah Badu will headline Kwn's first standalone R&B concert for Spotify, with RNB X Live: Dallas set for Sunday, November 1 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving. The one-night show turns Spotify's RNB X playlist into a live event and sends it back to Spotify after the performance.

RNB X Live: Dallas

Live Nation Urban describes the show as "the biggest expression of Spotify’s RNB X to date," and the bill also includes H.E.R., kwn, Destin Conrad, Jai'Len Josey, and rjtheweirdo. For Dallas listeners, that makes this less a one-off concert than a controlled rollout: a live date, then an exclusive Spotify release.

September 8 Tickets

Pre-sale tickets for eligible top fans in the Dallas area begin on Tuesday, September 8 at 12 pm. A Live Nation pre-sale follows on Wednesday, September 9 at 10 am, and the general on-sale starts on Friday, September 11 at 12 pm at Ticketmaster.com.

Those sale windows matter because the event is built as a one-night-only Dallas concert, yet the November 1 performance will also be captured on video and released exclusively on Spotify. That makes the first swing at the room do double duty: the audience in Irving gets the live version, and everyone else gets the recorded one later.

Mama's Gun to Irving

Badu's place in the lineup also carries weight for the local draw. Her last big concert locally was in December 2025, when she celebrated the 25th anniversary of Mama's Gun, and this new date gives her another high-visibility Dallas return before the recording leaves the building.

The immediate read for buyers is simple: if you want the live show, the first real decision point comes in early September, before the September 11 public on-sale. After that, the event's value shifts from access to replay, because the Dallas performance becomes part of Spotify's catalog rather than a single night in Irving.
