YouTube TV dropping channels September will hit three named services on September 30, 2026. Court TV, Tastemade, and The Young Turks will no longer be available on the lineup, and the change also reaches recorded Library content tied to those channels.
Subscribers got the warning by email. YouTube TV wrote, “We are writing to let you know that starting September 30, 2026, Court TV, Tastemade, and The Young Turks channels will no longer be available on YouTube TV.”
Recorded Library content
The removal is wider than live streaming. YouTube TV also said, “This includes live content or content in your Library that you may have recorded from these channels.”
That means a subscriber who saved an episode or a segment from one of the three channels does not just lose the live feed. The saved copy on YouTube TV goes with it.
Tastemade add-ons
The email added another layer for subscribers with extra packages. “Please note, this also includes Tastemade Español (Spanish Plus add-on) and Tastemade in 4K (4K Plus add-on).”
So the change reaches more than the main Tastemade channel. It also cuts off the Spanish Plus and 4K add-on versions that sit inside YouTube TV’s channel lineup.
YouTube and other platforms
YouTube TV told members they can continue to watch select channel content from Court TV, Tastemade, and The Young Turks on YouTube. That leaves a split experience: the channels disappear from YouTube TV, while some related clips or programming stay elsewhere inside YouTube.
Court TV has its own longer history. Steven Brill created it, and it launched in 1991. It later became known for gavel-to-gavel coverage of major trials including the Menendez brothers and O.J. Simpson cases before expanding into prime-time true-crime programming. The Young Turks also has deeper roots. Cenk Uygur developed it from his 1995 public-access show The Young Turk, and it became Sirius Satellite Radio’s first original talk program in 2002.
For viewers, the practical move is simple. Check whether anything you saved came from Court TV, Tastemade, or The Young Turks before September 30, 2026, because those channels and the Library items tied to them are scheduled to disappear together.
