Nomad has released an iPhone 18 Pro Max case in the form of the Nomad iPhone Duo Traditional Folio, and the price is $129. Global shipping starts on November 14, giving buyers a fixed date instead of a vague launch window.
Nomad iPhone Duo Traditional Folio
The case is a single-piece leather and plastic design for the iPhone Duo. Its front flap magnetically snaps to the outer display, and that makes it easier to cover the phone without turning it into a bulky add-on.
The flap can be disengaged to see the outer screen. The flap and outer screen can be disengaged together to see the inner screen. That setup gives the case a bifold feel without changing the phone’s basic layout.
Horween leather and two cards
Nomad uses Horween leather, and the leather wraps around the edges while keeping the buttons exposed and accessible. The inside of the flap includes a card-holder for two cards, so the case can carry payment, ID, or access cards without adding a separate wallet.
The company also says the leather will patina with time and age uniquely based on how the phone is used. For buyers, that means the finish is meant to change with wear rather than stay cosmetically uniform.
Rustic Brown and November 14
The Nomad iPhone Duo Traditional Folio comes in three colors: Saddle, Rustic Brown, and Black. The case also uses a plastic lip around the camera bump and a microfiber layer inside, which are the sort of details that usually decide whether a folio feels protective or merely decorative.
That protection pitch comes with a tradeoff. The flap can obscure the screen, and when it is folded back it can block the camera. Buyers weighing the case against other iPhone Duo options will need to decide whether the wallet-style carry and leather finish are worth that friction before November 14.
