France Beats Germany to Reach Historic Final
France delivered the more comfortable semifinal victory, defeating Germany 86-64 in front of the host nation's home crowd.
Gabby Williams produced an outstanding all-around performance with 22 points, five rebounds, five assists and four steals. France used its defensive pressure and efficient offense to establish control and prevent Germany from mounting a serious late comeback.

France has reached the Women’s World Cup championship game for the first time and is guaranteed its first medal at the competition since the inaugural tournament in 1953.

France has also produced an impressive tournament, including a 90-61 quarterfinal victory over China before its 22-point semifinal win against Germany.
