The Insider Gaming YouTube channel published a 52-minute timer of Exodus gameplay showing a mission walkthrough that ends in a huge armored combat bear boss fight. Fans of Exodus get a close look at how the sci-fi action RPG handles combat, ally commands, and player decisions more than a year before release.
Exodus gameplay mission
The recording shows the main character and companions landing, then moving into a shootout with a group of enemies. During the mission, players can order allies to use abilities, find locations with treasures, and make various decisions while the walkthrough continues.
One sequence gives the hero a first-aid kit to a wounded soldier. That soldier warns about a female lieutenant described as a cold-blooded killer, putting the encounter on a sharper edge before the mission escalates.
Armored bear boss fight
The lieutenant then unleashes the huge armored combat bear boss on the hero and companions, turning what could have been a straightforward fight into a much larger test. The footage shows that players will be able to knock the bear down and then beat it with their hands, which gives the encounter a clear close-range finish after the heavier combat phase.
The full recording gives a longer look at how Exodus mixes shooting, companion control, and branching mission choices in one sequence. A 52-minute video does not cover the whole game, but it does show enough of one mission to reveal the pacing inside a single playthrough rather than a cutscene reel; the Aquatimer broadcast watch offers a different kind of long-form timing story.
April 7, 2027 release
Archetype Entertainment has Exodus scheduled for release on April 7, 2027, for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Until then, this new footage is the clearest look yet at how one mission builds from a landing and shootout to a boss encounter that ends at hand-to-hand range.
