Krys Marshall is keeping her Paradise Show Emmys prep simple ahead of the 2026 Emmys on Sept. 14. The Paradise star, who plays Secret Service Special Agent Nicole Robinson, said her routine is built around hydration, rest, and family time before she shifts into full glam for the night.
Marshall said, “I try to drink a lot of water and just make sure that I'm really well hydrated.” She added that she is “not a Botox or filler girlie,” calling herself “pretty low-maintenance” and saying, “I don't do things that maybe some other folks do.”
Marshall and the 2026 Emmys
Paradise enters the 2026 Emmys with nominations for Outstanding Drama Series, Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Sterling K. Brown, Supporting Actor for James Marsden, and Supporting Actress for Julianne Nicholson. That gives the show a broad awards footprint going into Sept. 14, even before the main ceremony begins.
Shailene Woodley already gave the series an early awards result at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmys on Sept. 6, where she won Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series. For a series with multiple acting nominations, that kind of early result can help keep it visible in the final stretch before the main Emmys night.
Beauty routine, then full glam
Marshall said her prep is mostly facials, good rest, and Peter Thomas Roth hydrating eye patches. She also said she has started using Yepoda, describing it as “very clean, vegan, and gentle on the skin.”
The shift comes at night. “I got my polish,” she said, adding, “I like to get makeup on. I love a full glam, so that's fun.” That split is the point of her approach: minimal maintenance during the day, then a sharper awards-night finish.
Motherhood on big days
Marshall shares a 3-year-old son and a 7-month-old son with Ted Dolan, and she said motherhood helps keep her grounded when the schedule gets loud. “On big days where there's a lot of folks asking questions and lots going on, it's nice to, the night before, give them a bath, read them stories, and just remember, 'Oh, this is who I am outside of all this stuff,'” she said.
She said she started season three eight weeks after her baby was born, then wrapped Paradise and went to Spain for a few weeks with her husband and family before stopping at New York Fashion Week. That run explains why her Emmys prep is so stripped down: she is not treating Sept. 14 like a reset, just the next task after a year that already moved fast.
