Costco food court customers got a fresh tease on Sept. 16 when Costco posted a video on Instagram saying a popular item is coming back for a limited time. The company did not name the item, and the post ended with a black screen that read, “To be continued...”
One person in the video said, “I think it's going to look great right there.” Another said, “I think so too, I can't believe we're bringing back *BEEP* for a limited time.” Costco also invited fans to guess which item is coming back to food courts.

The video showed two people with their backs to the camera looking toward the menu of a food court inside a Costco warehouse. That setup put the menu itself at the center of the tease, with the company leaving the specific return item out of view.

Earlier this year, Costco quietly rolled out a hot dog and bottled water combo that lets members swap the traditional 20-ounce refillable fountain soda for a bottle of Kirkland Signature water. The combo costs $1.50, and the hot dog itself remained unchanged.
In July, Costco officially introduced a chicken tenders menu option nationwide after testing it in select markets since May. The meal costs $6.99 per basket and comes with five strips and a dipping sauce, which some influencers have compared to Chick-fil-A’s honey mustard.
What Costco has not said
Costco has not revealed which food court item is returning or when it will appear. For customers, the practical move is simple: watch the menu closely if you plan to stop by, because the company has set expectations for a return without giving the item away.
