John Bishop has cancelled all six of his planned North American tour dates after a broken ankle left him unable to fly long-haul. The dates were due across the US and Canada between October 15 and 25, turning a short run into a full multi-city disruption for ticket holders.
He said the injury means he must wear a medical air boot for six weeks, and that condition is what shut down the trip. In a video on X, he said: "One of the consequences that I found out about breaking your ankle is that you have to wear this boot for six weeks,"

The cancelled shows were part of Here's John Bishop tour, with stops listed in New York, Boston, Vancouver, Ottawa, Montreal and Toronto. That spread matters because this was not a single-night change of plan; it wiped out the full North American leg, including dates on both sides of the border.
He added: "And when you're wearing this boot, you can't fly long-haul flights, and because of that, I've got to cancel the tours I was gonna do in Canada and America in October." Bishop also wrote in the caption that he was "absolutely gutted," and added, "I was so looking forward to coming back over and seeing you all."
Medical advice on long-haul flights
