Jordan Graham is in hospital receiving specialist treatment after being involved in a serious road traffic accident earlier this month.
The 31-year-old former Birmingham City winger has not played since leaving Leyton Orient in 2025. A former Aston Villa academy product, Graham made 188 career appearances and played 49 times in the Championship for Birmingham between 2021 and 2023.
Family and club statements
The Professional Footballers' Association released a statement on behalf of Graham's family, saying they are incredibly grateful for the care he is receiving. The PFA also asked for privacy and requested that people refrain from contacting the family directly while they focus entirely on Jordan and his recovery. It added that further information will only be provided when appropriate.
Gillingham, where Graham played before joining Birmingham City in 2021, also issued a public message of support. The club said everyone at Gillingham is thinking of Jordan and his family at this time and wished him a full and swift recovery.
For now, the focus remains on Graham's recovery, with his former club and the PFA both making clear that the family wants privacy during what is clearly a difficult time.
