Rockstar Games has a GTA 6 Collector's Edition problem before it has a product: a leaked Rockstar Store list points to GTA VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection as a $400 bundle that does not include the game. For buyers who expected a premium path into Grand Theft Auto 6, that is a very different pitch.
55 items on GTAforums.com
A full list of products said to be coming to the Rockstar Store was shared at GTAforums.com, and it runs to 55 items. Clothing, bags, sticker packs, a basketball, and more are in the mix, which makes the collection read less like a game bundle and more like a merch-heavy release aimed at collectors first.
The item drawing the most attention is GTA VI: The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection. It is described as the most intriguing item in the leak, it is said to be limited to one per person, and it could weigh as much as 24 pounds. Those are the signals of a packaged display piece, not a standard retail add-on.
Vice City Collection at $400
The $400 price tag is the sharpest part of the story. Rockstar Games has already revealed a Standard Edition and an Ultimate Edition, and it has also revealed an Ultimate Edition upgrade for people who want extra content later down the line. Against that backdrop, the new collection sits outside the usual game purchase path and pushes the spend into memorabilia territory.
That matters because the bundle does not include a copy of the game. For anyone expecting the sort of collector package that normally folds the software into the box, this one does not do that. The value proposition is simply different: pay for the collection itself, then buy the game separately.
GTA: Vice City in 2002
The Vice City name also gives the bundle its hook. GTA: Vice City was released in 2002, and the new collection leans on that legacy while packaging it for a GTA 6 audience. The timing makes the merchandise feel like a bridge between old branding and a new release cycle rather than a standalone game launch item.
The practical read is simple: collectors are the target, not players looking for immediate access to the game. A $400 item with 55 pieces, a one-per-person limit, and no game inside is a merchandising play first, and anyone waiting for the software still needs to buy that separately.
