Milania Giudice personal struggles moved into public view after an incident report said the 20-year-old was having suicidal thoughts and a mental breakdown at Tampa International Airport in Florida. Joe Giudice said she has been dealing privately with the July death of her close friend Victoria Zardoya and the pressure of growing up in the public eye.
Joe said, “Milania is a good girl. She has a big heart, she loves deeply, and she cares enormously about the people in her life.” He added, “She is also young and going through a very difficult period right now.”

An incident report said cops were notified that multiple females needed police ASAP, and that Milania had gotten away from her family and been separated from a counselor who was traveling with them. Police located her about 10 minutes later and escorted her to her gate. There was no arrest or medical transport after the airport incident.
A since-deleted video from the airport showed Milania in a heated exchange with Teresa Giudice and Gia Giudice while police stood nearby. In the clip, Milania repeatedly asked, “This is what we do now?” Teresa said, “I love you,” and Gia told her mother to “let her do what she wants to do.” Milania then snapped, “Shut the f–k up!”
July and New Jersey
Joe said the death of Victoria Zardoya in July affected Milania tremendously. He also said, “Losing someone you love is incredibly painful, and grief does not have a timeline,” and added that she has been trying to process that loss while dealing with public life. His account and the airport report point in opposite directions, which is often how private crises look before a family can steady them.
Milania’s situation also sits beside her New Jersey simple assault charge from May 14, when she was arrested after a domestic dispute at her mother’s home. A police report said she was throwing food and candles, Gabriella Giudice called 911, and no weapons or injuries were reported; at arraignment, a judge alleged she struck LR in the head with her fist, causing redness to the forehead.
August hearing delay
Milania pleaded not guilty and enrolled in anger management classes, and in August her attorney told a judge the hearing was being postponed so she could complete the course. For now, the airport episode shows the immediate side of a larger problem: a young adult under strain, with police and a counselor stepping in before the situation became a detention or hospital transfer. The unresolved piece is what specifically set off the breakdown at Tampa International Airport.
