Why the style matchup matters
Bellato’s edge in Octagon experience is clear enough, but the tactical detail is just as important. If Edwards cannot create takedown entries that stick, then Bellato should get the kind of striking exchanges that suit a fighter who has already finished five of his last eight bouts. That is where the favourite has the cleaner path to victory.
Edwards will still believe he can make this competitive, especially after taking a strong debut opponent the full distance. But in the context of this matchup, Bellato looks like the more settled fighter, the more proven finisher, and the one better placed to turn a narrow opening into a decisive moment.
