Jefferson White is returning as Jimmy in Marshals season 2, and Paramount set that move on Wednesday ahead of the show’s Sunday, October 4 return. It keeps one of the franchise’s most durable supporting parts in play as the Yellowstone-verse expands again.

Jimmy first entered Yellowstone season 4 when he was sent to learn how to wrangle and train horses on the 6666 Ranch. Later in Yellowstone, John Dutton gave him permission to stay, which made his absence after Yellowstone ended with season 5 harder to square with the franchise’s new setup.
Yellowstone-verse Cast
Luke Grimes, Gil Birmingham, Mo Brings Plenty, and Brecken Merrill are already part of Marshals season 2, so White’s return adds another familiar face to a cast that is already built around the Yellowstone-verse. That kind of continuity usually tells viewers where a series wants its center of gravity: not a reset, but a carryover of relationships and unfinished business.
In Marshals season 2, Kayce and co. are headed toward a war with Tom Weaver, who wants to take over the last remaining section of the Yellowstone Ranch. White’s return does not answer how Jimmy fits into that conflict, but it does make the season’s ensemble feel more deliberately assembled rather than improvised around one new threat.

On Sunday, October 4, Marshals season 2 returns, while the series is also on a Big Rig Tour in Louisville, Kentucky, with exclusive photo ops and giveaways.
