After the game, Dave Canales said Horn had the most serious of the injuries the Panthers dealt with on Sunday and that he was "nowhere close" to returning. That makes Horn's status worth watching beyond the final score, especially with Carolina already short at wide receiver entering the game.
The Panthers had been dealing with injury issues before Horn went down. Jalen Coker, who had been working through an ankle injury, also left with a quadriceps issue. Coker later said, "here we go again," though he added, "I don't believe it's too serious."
