On Tuesday, September 29, a report said Abraham had already had the surgery and was dealing with intense swelling afterward. Chrissy Johnston, her manager, said, "Farrah cannot speak because her jaw is wired shut, and her face is extremely swollen. She is in a severe amount of pain and is really struggling, both physically and mentally".
Johnston also said Abraham is on a liquid diet and lost hearing in her right ear. She added, "I hope and pray that her pain eases soon and that her hearing returns to normal over time."

Abraham briefly appeared on Sophia's TikTok livestream after the procedure and held up a sign that read, "I had surgery + can't talk. Thanks for all the gifts." She later posted on her Instagram Story, "I feel like Frankenstein right now," and, "Praying my face comes back in three months."
The jaw work now has a practical cost: two months without speech, a wired-shut jaw, and a recovery that depends on liquid intake while swelling settles. Dominic Foppoli Case
Johnston said Abraham believes the jaw problems are linked to her sexual assault and battery case, adding that she thinks the trauma and stress affected her nervous system and contributed to the damage she has experienced. Abraham has accused Dominic Foppoli of sexual assault, has a civil trial scheduled for February 2027, and earlier this month Foppoli was found liable for sexually assaulting seven women and ordered to pay $13 million in compensatory damages.
