People in Norfolk won more than £1.1m in Premium Bonds October 2026, with 509 winners sharing the total and one person taking £100,000. The draw also produced a £50,000 prize, two £25,000 wins and 15 prizes of £10,000.
NS&I retail director Andrew Westhead said the quickest way to check if a prize has landed is through the Premium Bonds prize checker app, online or by asking Alexa from the second working day of each month onwards. “The quickest way to check if you have won a prize is to use our Premium Bonds prize checker app, check online, or even ask Alexa from the second working day of each month onwards.”
Norfolk Premium Bonds results
The October total gave Norfolk holders a wider spread of prizes than the headline figure alone suggests. With 509 winners and more than £1.1m paid out, the average prize was £2,344 each.
That average was lower than in September, when the average prize for each winner in Norfolk was £4,857 and one lucky holder secured a £1m prize. October still included several large wins, but the mix tilted more heavily toward smaller awards than the previous month.

Premium Bonds are an investment product from National Savings & Investments and are entered into a monthly prize draw. Prizes range between £25 and £1m, so the Norfolk result sat within the normal structure of the draw rather than outside it.
For anyone checking a holding after the draw, Westhead’s guidance gives the practical route: use the app, check online or ask Alexa from the second working day of each month. That is the point at which winners can start checking for a result and seeing whether a prize has been added.
September and October
The comparison with September is the clearest marker of how the local picture changed. Norfolk moved from a month with one £1m winner and a £4,857 average prize to a month with 509 winners, more than £1.1m in total, and a £2,344 average.
How many individual Premium Bonds holdings produced the 509 Norfolk winners is not stated, but the payout pattern shows the draw was concentrated at the top end for a small number of people while still spreading money across hundreds of local holders.
