Tesco Fuel Offer Cuts 8p Per Litre With £60 Spend

Tesco fuel offer shoppers can cut 8p off per litre if they spend £60 or more in-store by Sunday 18 October. The coupon is printed with the receipt, and the discount can then be used at participating petrol stations until Sunday 25 October.

8p off per litre is capped by a maximum saving of £8 a tank, which puts a ceiling on the benefit for larger fills. On an average fill of 35 to 45 litres, most drivers are likely to save about £2.80 to £3.60, so the offer is most useful for shoppers who already had a £60 basket planned.

Tesco and 500+ stations

500+ participating petrol stations are listed for the offer, out of approximately 600 petrol stations Tesco runs across the UK. The coupon has to be scanned at the petrol station till, and it can be used only once per transaction. Customers must spend more than £1 on fuel to use it.

£60 does not include lottery products, e-top up, savings stamps, postage stamps, carrier bags, prescription medicines, infant milk formula, café purchases, tobacco kiosk buys, opticians, phone store transactions, concessions, Travel Money, Tesco Bank, or Tesco Whoosh. Tesco home delivery, Click & Collect orders placed online, and Whoosh orders do not earn the fuel coupon.

Great Britain and Northern Ireland

The coupon can be redeemed only at participating Tesco-branded forecourts in Great Britain and Northern Ireland, and the offer excludes the Isle of Man, Tesco Express stores where Esso fuel is sold, unmanned petrol stations, and pay-at-pump services. That narrow setup means the saving is available, but not everywhere Tesco sells fuel.

The current deal also carries a smaller top-line saving than the version Tesco ran in August, with the maximum discount £2 less this time. Petrol prices reached £2 a litre for the first time, after the previous record high of 199.09p was set in June 2022, so the promotion lands at a moment when even a few pence per litre changes the final bill.

Shoppers who can reach the £60 threshold and plan to use a participating forecourt before Sunday 25 October are the ones who benefit most. Everyone else gets nothing from the receipt coupon, and the clock starts when the qualifying shop is made.
