Joe Hendry said his new album Beyond Belief came together as part of the job. The pro wrestler also said he wants to keep his feud with Logan Paul alive, but only after Logan Paul returns from injury.
“Well, this is just part of the job, my friend. It’s from the South American tour we were just on. Had an absolute blast. We managed to do, I think, five countries in six days, so it was an unbelievable experience. And you know what? I’ve got this to show for it as well,” Hendry said in Nashville, TN, describing the bruising travel that fed into the interview. That route through Argentina and Mexico helps explain why he is treating music as part of the same workload as WWE Raw.
Beyond Belief and the ring
Hendry framed the album as something built alongside his wrestling schedule rather than outside it. He said he is also a musician, and the project sits next to the kind of visibility he has built through WWE Raw, the viral song Tables, Ladders and Chairs, and a segment on RAW with Danhausen. For a wrestler trying to keep momentum in two lanes, that makes Beyond Belief less like a side project and more like another output from the same machine.
He was blunt about the pace. “Yeah, I’m very busy right now, and that’s the way I like it. I’m one of these guys, I do not do well with sitting at home and overthinking it. I need to be active and constantly striving forward and doing things and trying to get from A to B and beyond. So I love it. I love being busy. I think that’s where I thrive. The more repetitions I get, whether it’s interviews, in the ring, live performances, media, whatever it is, fan interactions. I just feel the more re” That line fits the way he presented the album: not as a break from wrestling, but as another repetition in the same week-to-week grind.
Penta, Danhausen, and the locker room
Hendry also used the interview to point to the locker room around him. He said Penta helped him after he needed a blue shirt and white trousers while touring, and he described the clothes as a gift from Penta’s family. The detail is small, but it shows how much of this story depends on travel, access, and timing rather than a neat studio rollout.
He tied that support back to the way the wrestling schedule keeps moving. “I’m telling you, I got to that venue, and he had this. It’s better than the ones I’m using on TV. Had this beautiful blue shirt, perfect. He’s a fashionable guy. Beautiful white trousers. He actually went out of his way, his daughter, she went out and got the stuff for me. Then I said, ‘How much did it cost?’ And he went, ‘No, it’s a gift from my family.’ I just wanted to mention that because that’s just like one example of some of the great people that we have in our locker room. They just had that unbelievable match on Raw, him and Roman. I just wanted to take a second to say that about Penta. Fantastic performer, great human being, much like a lot of people in her locker room.”
Logan Paul waits
Hendry drew a line between current activity and the next wrestling move he wants. He said he wants to continue his feud with Logan Paul when Logan Paul gets back from injury, which keeps the storyline alive without pretending it can move ahead before Paul is ready. That is the clean read on his position: the music project can move now, but the feud only advances when the injured side returns to the ring.
“I see what you’re trying to do here. You’re trying to box me into saying there’s one shirt, and I’ve already said on your show there’s not one shirt, but we now have one for the collection. There are multiple shirts.” It is the kind of answer that matches the rest of the interview — a performer juggling wrestling, music, and travel without trying to pretend any of it is separate.
