Joshua Ovalles in Beaverton
The alert said Joshua was last seen yesterday morning in the area of SW Western Avenue and SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy with Mari Martinez. That detail puts the search on a specific road corridor and gives people in Beaverton a concrete description to use if they spot the vehicle.
Beaverton Police are requesting the public’s help in locating 3 year old Joshua Ovalles. Last seen yesterday morning in the area of SW Western Avenue / SW Beaverton Hillsdale Hwy with Mari Martinez in a 2022 white Mercedes SUV with Oregon plate “MAMIII”. If seen please call 911.
AMBER Alert for MAMIII
The alert carried two vehicle descriptions: the text identified a 2022 white Mercedes SUV with Oregon plate MAMIII, while the AMBER Alert also described it as a 2022 white Mercedes GLB. For someone scanning traffic in the Beaverton area, the plate is the fastest way to match the alert to a vehicle.
Mari Martinez appears in the alert alongside Joshua, but the notice does not explain how the situation moved from a last sighting yesterday morning to an AMBER Alert posted Wednesday, October 7th, 2026. The practical instruction for the public stayed simple: if the vehicle is seen or any information turns up, call 911 or 1-866-5AMBER5 immediately.
Beaverton Police Department
For a reader in Beaverton, the alert turns one missing-child notice into a narrow search target: a child, a named companion, a white Mercedes, and a single Oregon plate. Until Joshua is located, the most useful response is to report any sighting without delay and let Beaverton Police handle the rest.
