Wizards of the Coast said a MTG Warhammer 40K reprint is coming for the Commander decks, and the run will be small. The decks should reach distributors and stores soon, giving players and retailers another chance to get sealed copies after months of tight supply.
The four Warhammer Commander decks first appeared in 2022 with an MSRP of $59.99 each. Since then, sealed copies climbed far above that starting point, with the Ruinous Powers deck around $230 on the low end, the Tyranid Swarm at $294, the Forces of the Imperium at $312, and the Necron Dynasties at $356.

The reprint gives distributors and WPN stores a fresh allocation to pass along to customers, but Wizards of the Coast said availability may vary by region. Fans and WPN retailers were told to check with their distributors, which means the decks are likely to appear unevenly rather than all at once across every market.
The timing matters because the decks had become expensive and hard to find, especially in sealed form. That price pressure also reached singles from the decks, so even a limited reprint can ease demand across more than one part of the market.
Collector’s Edition versions
Wizards of the Coast did not mention new printings for the Collector’s Edition versions of the Warhammer 40K decks. Those versions were released alongside the original precons, so collectors still have only one explicit reprint signal to work from: the regular Commander decks.
For buyers, the practical takeaway is straightforward. Check distributor channels and local store stock, expect the supply to be uneven, and do not assume the Collector’s Edition versions are part of the reprint unless Wizards of the Coast says so later.
