San Francisco Fleet Week 2026 is underway with ship tours, free concerts, the Parade of Ships, and the Blue Angels air show running through Monday. The busiest stretch comes Friday through Sunday, when the air show and Parade of Ships will draw the largest crowds to the northern waterfront.

Free ship tours at Piers 27 and 35 run from 10 am to 4 pm starting Wednesday, and military band performances continue Thursday. The Blue Angels practice from 1 to 6 pm, then the Parade of Ships sails under the Golden Gate Bridge from 11 am to noon on Friday before the Fleet Week air show starts at noon.

Friday at the Golden Gate Bridge

Friday packs the two biggest schedule items into one day. The Parade of Ships moves from the Golden Gate Bridge toward the waterfront from 11 am to noon, and the air show follows from noon to 4 pm between the Golden Gate Bridge and Alcatraz Island.

That sequence gives readers a narrow window for the parade and a longer block for the air show. Saturday and Sunday keep the same noon to 4 pm air show schedule, with flights possibly beginning as early as 10 am on both days.

Marina Green and Fisherman’s Wharf

The event is being presented as a citywide draw, but the biggest crowds and noise will be concentrated around the northern waterfront, especially Fisherman’s Wharf and Marina Green. Fleet Week organizers recommend public transportation, and special transit information has been posted for the air show and the Parade of Ships.

Geofencing will also be in effect for Waymo and Zoox near popular viewing areas and the Embarcadero. The Marina and Pacific Heights are likely to hear more of the aircraft, while the Mission, Dogpatch, and Noe Valley should generally be quieter.

Monday at Golden Gate Park Bandshell

Saturday and Sunday add free ship tours at Piers 27 and 35, Fleet Fest at Fisherman’s Wharf from 10 am to 7 pm, and K9 Heroes at Duboce Park on Saturday. Military bands will also perform at Pier 39, Ghirardelli Square, Golden Gate Park, West Portal, and several neighborhood plazas and libraries during the weekend.

Fleet Week ends Monday with final ship tours from 9 am to noon and a Marine band performance at the Golden Gate Park Bandshell. A reader planning around the waterfront traffic should treat Friday through Sunday as the most crowded days and use transit if they want to reach the parade and air show viewing areas.
