Wladimir Klitschko files supplement in guardianship case over missing items — Wladimir Klitschko Guardianship Kaya

Wladimir Klitschko has filed a new supplement in the Wladimir Klitschko guardianship KAYA case, telling the Los Angeles County probate court that someone outside Hayden Panettiere's family may have sold some of her possessions to a pawn shop. The filing expands his earlier request by tying the guardianship case to the recovery of property and the handling of assets linked to Kaya Klitschko.

The supplement says the items could “will be sold, transferred or otherwise rendered unrecoverable,” and adds that their loss would cause a “direct financial detriment of Kaya.” Klitschko is asking the court to let him “request and authorize law enforcement investigation into the recovery of Hayden's property believed to have been misappropriated.”

Klitschko filed the earlier petition in September. That filing sought to make him the temporary guardian of Kaya, who was welcomed in 2014, and it raised concerns about preserving Hayden Panettiere's estate.

The new supplement does not stand alone. It attaches the missing-property issue to the earlier guardianship request, turning the probate matter into a dispute over whether Panettiere's possessions can be located before they are dispersed or sold again.

Pawn shop disclosure

The pawn shop has declined to disclose specific item information without being contacted by law enforcement. That leaves the court filing and the shop's response pointing in different directions: Klitschko is asking for authority to seek an investigation, while the shop is withholding item details until police make the contact.

Panettiere died in August after she was found unresponsive at a South Carolina apartment. The Greenville County Coroner's Office said she died as a result of an accidental overdose of drugs including fentanyl, 4-ANPP, alprazolam, methocarbamol and quetiapine, and the investigation into her death remains ongoing.

Kaya is the person named in the filing as the one who would face the direct financial detriment if the items are not recovered. For the court, the immediate issue is no longer only guardianship; it is whether Klitschko can use the probate case to push a law-enforcement search for possessions that may already have been moved beyond easy recovery.

The filing leaves one question at the center of the dispute: which possessions are missing, and whether law enforcement has identified who sold them.
