DISH will begin offering NBA League Pass on Oct. 6 for $110 for the season. Out-of-market games start on Oct. 20 and run through the end of the regular season on April 12, giving subscribers a fixed window to buy before the full game slate opens.

NBA League Pass on DISH

The package gives viewers access to up to 40 out-of-market games per week, plus live radio broadcasts of all NBA games. For a subscriber who follows a team outside the local market, that makes the service a broader option than a single-team add-on.

DISH also says NBA League Pass can be paid as a one-time charge or in four payments of $27.50 each, with the charge appearing on the monthly DISH bill. At that price, the season-long option lands well below the separate NBA Team Pass, which costs $90 or four payments of $22.50.

America’s Top 120 and Beyond

Games on NBC, ABC, and are available with most DISH packages, and viewers with America’s Top 120 packages and up can watch all nationally televised games that are not included in NBA League Pass. The service is built as an add-on, not a substitute for the base lineup.

That matters because blackout restrictions still block local teams, and nationally televised games are excluded from NBA League Pass. A fan can buy the league package and still miss the games that matter most on a local night or a national window.

Peacock and Amazon Prime Video

NBA League Pass does not cover games on Peacock and Amazon Prime Video, which require a separate subscription. It also does not change the fact that DISH does not carry Regional Sports Networks, so the relevant comparison for a buyer is between a league-wide out-of-market package and a single-team option.

For a subscriber deciding on Oct. 6, the cleanest read is simple: buy the full-league pass if the goal is broad out-of-market access, or skip it if the team you want is local, on a national broadcast, or behind Peacock and Amazon Prime Video. NBA League Pass opens the door to a wide slate, but blackout rules still decide which games stay shut.
