Tyrin Bridges, a 31-year-old Providence man wanted on Larceny and conspiracy charges, was arrested after a crash about 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Route 146 in Lincoln. The Rhode Island State Police said he was also arrested on charges of reckless driving and driving with an expired or without a license.
Bridges was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment or presentment as a probation violator at Third Division District Court. The arrest tied the wanted case to a separate crash and added driving-related charges to the list.
Lincoln Woods Barracks
The Rhode Island State Police said, "Bridges was processed at the Lincoln Woods Barracks and held overnight pending morning arraignment/presentment as a probation violator at Third Division District Court". That sequence moved him from the roadside stop to custody and then to court handling the next morning.
The crash happened first, at about 4:45 p.m. Sunday on Route 146. After that, police apprehended Bridges and booked him on the outstanding Larceny and conspiracy matters along with the new driving charges.
Third Division District Court
For Bridges, the immediate result was overnight holding before morning court action. The unresolved piece is the underlying Larceny and conspiracy case itself; the arrest record here shows the stop, the custody, and the added charges, but not the facts behind the original allegations.
That leaves the next step in court as the point where the separate threads meet: the wanted status, the crash arrest, and the probation-violation process all converge at Third Division District Court.
