Meghan Markle posted a fresh Prince Archie Lilibet adjustment England update on Oct. 11. The Instagram Stories video showed Archie and Lilibet walking through the English countryside after the family’s August return to the U.K.
Archie rode his scooter down the trail while Lilibet walked beside him, and Pula trotted ahead as wild deer moved in the distance. It is a small scene, but it gives the clearest dated look yet at how the children are settling into a new routine.
Archie on the trail
Archie’s scooter run is the detail that makes the clip feel lived-in rather than posed. Meghan framed the outing around movement, not ceremony: two children, a dog, and a stretch of countryside that reads as part of day-to-day family life.
The timing also matters. Harry and Meghan moved their young family back to the U.K. in August, six years after stepping back from royal duties and living in California. Meghan’s video lands as a follow-up, not a standalone snapshot.
The family changed Archie and Lilibet’s school two days after classes began, after discussions with their security team about the practicalities of the arrangement. That kind of shift usually means the adjustment is not just emotional; it also runs through schedules, transport, and the rhythm of getting children settled quickly.
Prince Harry on school
Prince Harry had already pointed to that adjustment on Sept. 18, when he said, “The last two weeks have been—it's been eventful,” and added, “We're getting stuck into the work. Kids are in school. We're happy.” On Sept. 25, he said, “The kids are happy in school.”
Prince Harry has also said in MasterClass Redefining Grief: Building Resilience Through Loss that “The biggest factor for me is the energy and the joy and happiness that I get being with my family, especially our kids,” and that he spends “no more than 10 days away from my wife and kids.” Measured against that standard, the Oct. 11 video fits a family trying to keep the children’s routine visible and steady.
What the video leaves out
The one major detail the footage does not answer is which school Archie and Lilibet now attend. That omission keeps the focus on the children’s routine rather than on a specific institution, and it leaves the public with a narrow but useful view of where the family has landed: back in the U.K., with school under way and the children already moving through it.
