Helldivers 2 will get a new Warbond in Helldivers on October 20, when the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond launches with new long-range weapons and armor. The release adds the R-40 Sightliner, P-44 Mist, AMW-20 Apex, LAS-44 Nova and G-11 Caltrops, giving players several ways to rebuild a long-range loadout at once.
PlayStation.Blog describes The Scope of Authority Premium Warbond as a next leap forward in long-range and clandestine combat solutions. That framing puts the update squarely in the hands of players who favor distance, precision and concealment, not close-quarters chaos.
R-40 Sightliner and AMW-20 Apex
The R-40 Sightliner is a bolt-action sniper rifle built around powerful armor-piercing rounds and long-range precision. The AMW-20 Apex goes in the opposite direction of subtlety: it is a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle with assisted reload, which means the loadout includes both a careful marksman option and a heavier weapon for more forceful shots.
The P-44 Mist adds a one-handed machine pistol for compact carry, while the LAS-44 Nova joins the LAS series of energy weapons. The LAS-44 fires a high-precision non-explosive thermal projectile after a short charge cycle, so the warbond is not limited to conventional ballistic weapons.
SS-33 Mimetic Marshal
The SS-33 Mimetic Marshal light armor is inspired by old-fashioned ghillie suits and comes with the coordinating Mimetic Mesh cape and player card. The SS-15 Focal Point medium armor uses integrated adaptive camouflage and cutting-edge optics, and it pairs with the Boundary Banner cape and player card.
Both armors carry the Stationary Shroud passive, which reduces weapon sway. For anyone building around scoped fire, that means the set is not just cosmetic: it is built to support steadier shots when holding position.
G-11 Caltrops and loadout choices
The G-11 Caltrops scatters a wide field of proximity-detonated submunitions that slow and stun foes. That makes the warbond unusually broad for one release, because it mixes stealth-leaning gear with a backpack-fed anti-materiel rifle and area-denial ordnance in the same package.
On October 20, the Ministry of Defense will authorize deployment of the Scope of Authority Premium Warbond. Players who want long-range tools get a concentrated set of options instead of waiting for separate releases, but the full contents list and unlock cost are still the practical details to watch before the launch date arrives.
