The preview makes that goal look less like a straight-line plan and more like a race against whoever gets their hands on the gun next.

The same burst also took the head clean off a saber-toothed tiger, and Cy Pedro Beltran said the character was “Deadpool responsible for the extinction of the saber-toothed tiger.” That line turns the scene into more than slapstick; it shows a weapon with history-altering reach being mishandled in the middle of a chase.
BULLSEYE, Black Hole
The solicitation for Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9 says Punisher and Deadpool are hunting the same weapon as Black Hole, and it adds the line that it sounds like a job for BULLSEYE. That is the practical question the preview leaves hanging: who gets the gun before Castle can use the remaining nine bullets?
Wade Wilson: Deadpool #9 is scheduled for release on October 14, 2026, and the issue should answer whether the time gun stays with the two hunters or becomes somebody else’s problem. Based on the preview, the smartest read is that the weapon is already too dangerous to sit in one hand for long.
