Sean “Diddy” Combs hit head in Fort Dix hospital transfer — Dudus

Sean “Diddy” Combs, also called Dudus here, was rushed out of prison after hitting his head on a bunk bed and sent to a New Jersey hospital. The move followed a medical emergency at Fort Dix and came as his release date was already pushed back to March 2, 2028.

A source told Page Six that Combs smacked his head on the bunk above him and was doing much better after the incident. Another report said he was conscious and speaking after the alleged injury, which puts the case in a narrow lane: the injury was described as non-life-threatening, but it still triggered an ambulance transfer and medical treatment.

Fort Dix and the ambulance transfer

TMZ reported that Combs was taken from federal prison Fort Dix on Sunday to a nearby medical facility because of a medical emergency. It also reported that he was taken from prison via ambulance Saturday at around 1 a.m. and treated for the non-life-threatening injury. Those two time stamps point to a fast-moving response rather than a routine check-in.

That sequence matters because it shows how quickly a head injury inside custody can move from an incident in a bunk area to outside medical care. For Combs, the immediate practical result was removal from the prison setting and observation at a medical facility in New Jersey.

Grammy winner Sean Combs

A rep for the Grammy winner said, “We are aware of the reports concerning Sean Combs and are working to confirm the circumstances.” The rep also said, “Sean’s health and well-being are our immediate concern,” and “and we appreciate everyone who has reached out.”

Combs was convicted on two counts of transportation for prostitution and sentenced to 50 months in prison in July 2025. TMZ also reported that he had been written up several times for alleged fights and cellphone violations during his incarceration, losing 400 days of commissary privileges and 41 days of good-time credit.

March 2, 2028 change

Page Six reported that Combs’ prison release date moved from Jan. 21, 2028 to March 2, 2028. For a prisoner already serving a 50-month sentence, that change is the clearest hard number in the story: his timeline inside custody is now longer by more than a year than the earlier date suggested.

The immediate question now is the exact medical evaluation he received at the New Jersey hospital, because the current record only goes so far: he was conscious, speaking, and treated after a head injury, but the next concrete development is the updated release date already on the books.
