Isaac Rouse is now the face of SilverFin, with production started on the Young Bond audio drama and first-look material out in public. The project puts a 16-episode, half-hour format behind James Bond, with release scheduled for October 2026.
Isaac Rouse in SilverFin
16 half-hour episodes is the clearest sign this is being built as a serial release rather than a one-off special. SilverFin will arrive as two box sets, a structure that lets listeners buy the story in stages instead of waiting for a single drop.
October 2026 is the target date, and the first-look image plus behind-the-scenes video give the production its first market-facing moment. For a title tied to Young Bond, that matters because the lead casting is no longer a theory or a tease: Isaac Rouse is the actor playing James Bond.
Barnaby Edwards on Day Three
Barnaby Edwards said the first day on the project could have been nerve-racking because the chemistry in the room was unpredictable. He added that Isaac is a splendid leading man who “clicked instantly with all his fellow actors,” made them feel at ease and gave them something exciting to play against.
That recording-room chemistry was tested again on Day Three, when Charlotte McBurney joined Bond, Wilder Lawless, Red Kelly and George Hellebore. Edwards said that session became one of the happiest of the whole recording period, describing the four young actors “sparking off each other” in a “truly magical experience.”
Big Finish pre-orders
The release plan is already set across Big Finish and where each box set can be pre-ordered for £24.99 for download to own. A second option is listed at £35.99 for download to own plus collector’s edition CD, which gives the production a clear sales ladder before October 2026.
Isaac Rouse also appears in the behind-the-scenes video talking about the Bond theme songs he has been listening to, a small detail that makes the casting feel lived-in rather than simply announced. With Charlie Higson in the cast as Mr Merriot and supporting roles already filled, SilverFin now looks less like a launch teaser and more like a project moving into its commercial runway.
