Mike Malott will get the biggest stage of his UFC run when he headlines UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott against Joaquin Buckley at Rogers Place in Edmonton, Canada, on Saturday, October 17, 2026. It is a five-round main event, and that alone makes it the focal point of the card.
The matchup gives UFC Edmonton a clear anchor: a ranked Canadian contender in Malott against Buckley in the show’s main event. For fans in Canada, the full card will be available on Sportsnet and TVA Sports, while the entire event can also be streamed on Paramount+.
When the card starts
The main card begins at 8 pm ET / 5 pm PT, with the prelims set for 6 pm ET / 3 pm PT. The early prelims stream on UFC FIGHT PASS at 5 p.m. ET / 2 pm PT.
UFC Fight Night: Buckley vs Malott also includes Erin Blanchfield versus Jasmine Jasudavicius, but the headline attraction is clearly Mike Malott in the main event. In a five-round setting, the fight carries added weight: not just for the result, but for what a win would mean on a card built around one of Canada’s top welterweight names.
