Lecce took the lead against Udinese through Kialonda Gaspar, who scored with a header from the left side of the six yard box to make it 1-0.
Opening goal changes the match state
The match was still in its early stages, with lineups announced and players warming up before the key moment arrived. Gaspar’s finish gave Lecce the first breakthrough in what was being tracked as an Italian Serie A live update.
After the goal, Udinese had to chase the game and look for a response. Later in the sequence, Giorgi Chakvetadze tested Wladimiro Falcone with a right-footed shot from outside the box, but the Lecce goalkeeper made the save.
The live updates also noted a few important set-piece moments, including Chakvetadze winning a free kick on the left wing and Hassane Kamara winning a free kick in the defensive half. But the headline event remained Gaspar’s opener, which put Lecce in front and forced Udinese to adjust quickly.
