Stellantis and Leapmotor have started B10 production in Zaragoza, Spain, bringing the Chinese SUV into European manufacturing. The launch gives the Zaragoza plant a new model built on a different platform from its current products.

The B10 starts at 23,900 euros in Spain. Leapmotor says the project is part of a wider effort to make electric mobility more accessible and competitive in Europe, while the launch also draws the partnership deeper into the region’s industrial map.

Zaragoza and the B10

The Zaragoza plant was chosen in part because of spare production output and the facility’s expertise. As of October 2026, the Stellantis-developed models there are the Peugeot 208, Opel Corsa and Lancia Ypsilon, all built on the CMP platform. The B10 uses a different platform, which makes the line change more than a simple addition.

Stellantis gains a larger role in the industrial side of its relationship with Leapmotor. Leapmotor remains responsible for its own product development and technologies, while Stellantis contributes its industrial capabilities and knowledge of European markets.

Leapmotor in Europe

Leapmotor is a Hangzhou-based automaker founded a little over a decade ago, and around 20 percent of it is owned by Stellantis. Producing in Spain places the company closer to European markets it wants to expand in, and the B10 production launch drew senior political and industrial representatives.

The B10 itself comes with a 14.6-inch central touchscreen, up to 12 speakers, 64-color ambient lighting, 17 driver-assistance functions, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, NFC key card access, over-the-air software updates and LED exterior lights. The EV version is offered with 361 or 434 kilometers of range on a full charge, uses 56.2 kilowatt-hours or 67.1 kilowatt-hours, and adds 25 liters of storage space in the front compartment.

Range and charging

Leapmotor also offers an EREV version with up to 900 kilometers of WLTP driving range. It uses an 18.8-kilowatt-hour battery, a 50-liter fuel tank and a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine that generates electricity instead of driving the wheels. The full-electric B10 can charge from 30 to 80 percent in 19 minutes.

Neither Stellantis nor Leapmotor disclosed how many B10s the Spanish plant expects to build in the first year. Mircea has said his interest in cars began when a 1:43 scale model of a Ferrari 250 GTO sparked it as a child, and this launch gives that kind of enthusiasm a new industrial setting in Europe.
