Sean Combs FCI Allenwood move gained new weight after he reportedly suffered a head injury in a fight with Christopher "Dudus" Coke at FCI Fort Dix on Friday, Oct. 9. He was taken to an outside medical facility, then returned before 7 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 10.
Fort Dix on Oct. 9
The reported confrontation happened during an outdoor recreation period, and sources inside the facility said Diddy “got the worst of it.” The injury was serious enough to require outside medical treatment, but the return came the same night after an ambulance was reportedly seen leaving Fort Dix around 1 a.m.
That sequence matters because Sean Combs is already serving a 50-month prison sentence after a July 2025 conviction on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. His appeal before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit remains pending after oral arguments on April 9, so any new custody issue lands inside an already fragile legal timetable.
Christopher "Dudus" Coke
Christopher "Dudus" Coke has been incarcerated since 2012 and is serving a 23-year federal prison sentence. Sources described him as “the real "kingpin" of Fort Dix,” which helps explain why a dispute over prison status, access, or lost privileges could escalate quickly inside the facility.
The reported trigger was not random. The confrontation followed tensions after a NBC News report about allegedly privileged treatment behind bars, including claims that inmates were paid to cook, clean, and provide massages for Combs. According to TMZ, prison officials carried out at least two raids targeting contraband, including unauthorized cellphones, and Coke was reportedly among the inmates whose phones were confiscated.
Restrictive Housing for Two Weeks
Both inmates were reportedly placed in restrictive housing for an additional two weeks after the altercation. That is the operational detail to watch: if prison staff classify Combs as a disruptive inmate, the next step could be a transfer to another federal facility, which would change his placement inside the system rather than just his housing unit.
The account also collided with an earlier explanation given to Page Six that he had “smacked his head on the bunk above him.” A representative for the Bad Boy Records founder said his team was “working to confirm the circumstances,” and a representative for Combs told Complex, “We have no independent information on that,” which leaves the public record split between a reported fight and a separate injury explanation.
Jose Rojas has already said Combs received disciplinary write-ups for fighting on July 31, September 30 and October 1, along with violations involving unauthorized phones. Those infractions reportedly cost him 41 days of good-conduct credit and 400 days of commissary privileges, and his projected release date has moved from January 21, 2028, to March 2, 2028. For now, the practical takeaway is simple: the reported head injury is no longer just a medical note; it is another custody problem that could push him closer to a transfer.
