Kim Kardashian dressed as her 13-year-old daughter on Oct. 20. The Halloween look answered the question of How old is North West: 13, and it turned a family style reference into the center of the post.
Kardashian shared a TikTok video showing an all-black outfit inspired by North West. She finished it with blue hair, a faux bridge piercing, and thigh and finger dermal piercings, then posted gem-adorned, duck-shaped nails in North West's signature pose with a hand over her mouth.
North West and blue hair
The timing follows Kardashian's own comments in October 2025 on Call Her Daddy in October, where she said she would let North West have blue hair if it made her happy. She said, "I'm like, 'Babe, if you want blue hair, it is what it is,'" and added, "It makes her so happy. I would never take that creative away from her."
She also said, "If her rebellion is dying her hair and wearing whatever, but she's my bestie and being so close, I'd rather my girl be with me and be with me all the time," and, "Let's experiment with every hair color. I nurture her creative side." Those comments line up with the Halloween makeover: the hair was borrowed, not permanent, and the style stayed inside the bounds Kardashian has already described publicly.
North West in TikTok Live
North West has already pushed back on the way people talk about her look. In a recent TikTok Live with Kardashian, she said, "Stop saying I'm demonic just because I like to dress this way" and "Don't judge a book by its cover." Kardashian responded with details from when North was younger, saying, "When she was a baby, dropping her off at school, all she wanted was her septum pierced and her eyebrow pierced," and, "She would do like a double brow in pre-K, going in with fake piercings."
That is where the family line sits now: North can experiment with hair and fashion, but she is not allowed to get the bridge piercing she wants. In August, she told Dazed, "I really want to get my bridge pierced, but I'm not allowed."
Kris Jenner on the post
The reaction stayed light. Kris Jenner wrote, "This is so fun!!!!!" and La La Anthony added, "U went crrrazzzzyyyyy." For readers following the post, the useful detail is simple: the Halloween look was not just a costume but a direct reference to North's current style, and North is 13, so the age in the headline is not vague or approximate.
