Apple rolls out iOS 27.2 with Siri AI memory and five languages — Ios 27.3 Expected Release Date

Apple rolled out iOS 27.2 today, and the update gives Siri AI a memory feature that can recall past conversations and draw on more personal context. For users waiting on the iOS 27.3 expected release date, the immediate news is less about timing and more about what Apple just changed on supported devices.

Siri AI in iOS 27.2

Apple’s update notes say Siri AI can now retain useful context from previous interactions and use it when chatting. That makes follow-up requests less dependent on repeating the same details, which should cut down on the back-and-forth that usually exposes voice assistants at their weakest.

iOS 27.2 also expands the data Siri can access to include voicemails and Messages attachments. Users of supported iPhone models may notice more relevant replies when a request depends on something already shared in a conversation or left in a voicemail.

Apple supports more languages

Siri AI is now available in French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, and Spanish. Apple says support covers all iPhone 16 models and later, plus iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

The practical gain is simple for people on those devices who use one of those languages: Siri AI is no longer limited to a narrower language set. The complication is just as clear, because Siri AI remains unavailable in Europe and mainland China.

Messages, Photos, and Apple TV

iOS 27.2 also adds context-aware suggestions within Messages, SynthID watermarking support in Photos, and user profiles in the Apple TV app. Apple Music gets the new branding, and the update includes previously promised Apple Pencil support on the iPhone Duo foldable.

Apple is clearly broadening this release beyond voice features. The Siri AI changes matter most for users who rely on personal context, while the other additions change how Messages, Photos, and Apple TV behave without requiring a separate app update.

Apple has not given an iOS 27.3 release date. That leaves the next timing question open even as 27.2 lands now, and users who want the new Siri AI languages or the Excluded Apps control can move to the update today if their device is on the supported list.
