Renato Moicano and Tom Nolan both made weight on Friday, clearing the final hurdle for the UFC Vegas 123 main event scheduled for Saturday.

Moicano stepped on the scale at 156 pounds, while Nolan came in at 155.5 pounds. That officially set the lightweight headliner and kept the matchup intact after the weigh-ins.

Francis Marshall misses the mark

The biggest issue at the weigh-ins came elsewhere on the card. Francis Marshall came in at 148 pounds, missing the featherweight non-title limit by two pounds. As a result, his bout with Dakota Hope was changed to a catchweight fight, and Marshall was fined 20 percent of his purse.

For Moicano, the weigh-in gives him a chance to build on momentum from his main event win over Chris Duncan in April. Nolan, meanwhile, is looking to extend his winning streak to six straight.

With both headliners on weight, UFC Vegas 123 is set to go forward Saturday with its main event in place and the card otherwise moving ahead as scheduled.
