Omar Abdullah shared wedding photos with Nidhi Razdan on Saturday, putting the couple’s new personal step on social media. He wrote, “A new journey began yesterday,” and tagged her in the post.
In the photographs, both were dressed in wedding attires. Abdullah also added a ring emoji, while Razdan posted the same set of photographs and wrote, “It's done bro.”

The exchange gave the first clear public glimpse of the development. Razdan had lately been seen attending public events with Abdullah, and her separate post mirrored his choice to share the pictures publicly.
That public reveal sits alongside a long legal history. Abdullah was earlier married to Payal Nath in 1994, and they started living separately in 2009. They have two sons, Zahir and Zamir.
Supreme Court in July
The timing matters because the personal update follows years of litigation over the marriage. The Supreme Court granted Abdullah and Nath a divorce in July this year after years of legal battle, after he challenged the December 12, 2023 judgment passed by the Delhi high court.
The Delhi high court had upheld the earlier order of a Delhi court in August 2016, found Abdullah’s allegations of cruelty to be vague, and accepted Nath’s argument that she did not settle in Kashmir because of security concerns and the education of the children in Delhi. It had also directed Abdullah to pay ₹1.5 lakh every month as interim maintenance and ₹60,000 each to support the education of the two sons.
The public posts do not add a formal statement beyond the photographs and captions. They do, however, put a new relationship milestone into the open after a divorce case that stretched across 2016, 2023, and July this year.
